I had a DBL pull older generation and I loved it but I needed/wanted the extra adjustment. I like the bigger knobs for quick deployment they work great. Everything works as it should and I think it is a slight refinement of the previous generation. BUT I do not care for the locking legs. But that was a simple fix with a flat file!

Everything I've gotten from MDT has been awesome! This bipod included, It's perfect to have in my pack for high brush and or down hill shots where you need the height to get a stable clear shot off. It fits the needed gap between a low bi pod and a large tall tripod. If you're worried about the weight in your pack, go to the gym and train harder before your hunt. We owe it to the animals we're hunting to deliver one shot one kill respect, this bi pod will help ensure that.

This is a specialty piece of equipment, that's for sure. It's a bit heavy. Fully collapsed, it's still long. But let me tell you, when you're in a situation where you want to use a bipod and need to get high off the ground, BINGO! This is the tool for the job. Material and build quality are great, as is typical with MDT. Just be aware that this is a piece of equipment you may not need much, but when you do need it you'll be glad you have it.

I bought a triple pull and had it for a few days when it came apart in my kitchen. I called and emailed customer service and had a new bipod in hand in a week. Sometimes things slip out the door that aren’t perfect and MDT made it right. The new bipod I received is great.

This is an updated review of the triple pull bipod I already have purchased. In Nebraska our rifle season just ended. For 7 days my wife, and I back packed around the Fort Robinson area. We finally had an ace in the hole for an area to hunt. It was 20min left of shooting light, and everything was set for a prone shot around 300yds away from where we were seeing deer the day prior. Well as luck would have it, they came up from behind us. I was unable to get into a prone position due to movement, and since I was in a now awkward position sitting on a slope, could not take an off hand shot.
I was able to extend the bipod up enough to take a 250yds shot while in a very awaited position on this slope, and hit a large whitetail doe in the vitals.
Amazing piece of equipment, and it did hold up very well during our backpacking trip.

I’ll be honest my patience was running out with this backordered bipod. That’s where the dissatisfaction ended.
As soon as I got the bipod out of the box, and in my hands…all I can say is WOW!! It is exceptional. There are no words for the quality, and versatility of this bipod.
I got this for bipod due to the fact I hunt in Nebraska across some vast prairies, and Sandhills. I can now shoot prone, or shoot in a sitting position with just this one bipod. Any terrain, and it doesn’t matter if it’s level or not due to how the legs can be adjusted.
The bipod will go lower to the ground than most people can even shoot prone. This is an absolutely amazing piece of equipment. This is my first MDT purchase, and I’m sold.
The bipod is expensive no doubt. Would I buy it again? Without hesitation. Buy the bipod, and you will not in the slightest regret your decision. Atlas is a fine bipod, although cannot even come close to everything this bipod can do for you in the field.

"Locks" to lower/raise the legs sometimes don't catch when you're in a hurry and on the clock. Saved my bacon on reverse slope shots.

The triple pull is awesome. Can now look down upon the inferior single & double pulls. Until there is a quadruple pull I will triple pull.
