The MDT Elite Scope Rings offer a solid, lightweight mounting system for your optics. Made from precision-machined aluminum, they are available in 30mm, 34mm and 35mm diameters.
The two diameter options are available in four different heights (measured from top of rail to center of bore).

- 25mm (0.984”) of lateral contact with scope tube
- 30mm (1.181”) of lateral contact with mounting rail
- The main body is machined on an automated seven-axis, high-end CNC machine tool
- Extra wide profile provides extremely stable mounting
- The bottom rail interface is machined at the same time as the scope clamp interface, guaranteeing all rings are square and parallel
- CMM checked to 1.5 millionths of an inch precision
- Machined from Billet 7075-T651 Aluminum – 1/3 the weight of steel with similar strength
- Extra thick clamp system will never bend, fatigue, or become loose with use
- Built-in bubble level on medium, high, and extra-high rings (No bubble level on low rings)
- Stepped base-to-cap interface allows the fasteners on one side to be tightened before making final scope alignment adjustments
- Six oversized #8-32 Grade 8 fasteners used for clamping the scope
- Sleek curves blend well into most scopes
MDT Precision Scope Rings are designed and manufactured to STANAG 4694 specification, also known as “NATO spec”. This means the scope ring sits tight to the top of the scope base rail, with pressure being applied to the underside of the angled rail surfaces to maintain a solid interface (as shown below).
By contrast, US MIL-STD-1913 spec mounts attach only to the angles sides of the rail, leaving a small gap between the top of the rail and the underside of the mount, and significantly reducing the amount of contact area between the mount and rail.
Testing performed by NATO has shown that the STANAG attachment method increases the robustness of the interface, leading to increased alignment repeatability. MDT Elite Precision Scope rings can be mounted to scope base rails designed to both the STANAG and MIL-STD specifications.

i assumed the bubble level was going at the rear , but no. it goes in the front.
Not highly visible but its there.
And use this level to align the reticle.
Im use to align my reticle with the rifle.
Tools are included and very tight tolerance.

The rings a very nice. I was looking for something robust to put on top of a heavy recoiling magnum and so far these seem to be a good choice. My only complaint is related to the bubble level. I bought these specifically because of the integrated level. The level-containing rings go in front, but when placed in front the level is not visible. It would be more visible if in the rear position, similar to how a SPUHR mount's level is situated. Still great rings though.

I bought these rings for my hunting. Rifle, after putting the scope and mounting everything to the rifle. I noticed that you are unable to see the bubble level in plain sight. The scope covers up the majority of the bubble level. I'm sure this works fine with a smaller scope. The scope i'm using is a leopold mark 5HD 5-25x56

I run these on almost every rifle setup I own. Due to user error, no fault of MDT, I broke the cross bolt during installation. Talking to my buddies dad not paying attention while installing them. I torque mark every bolt on my rifles for an easy reference and thought I needed to get one more rotation out of them and SNAP! Anyways called MDT, the lady on the phone was super nice and I explained what I had done and within 3 days I had a couple extra cross bolts and nuts at the house. Amazing customer service and amazing product!

The rings are outstanding and work perfectly, I added the accessory scope ring cap and the pic rail for the accessory cap. Everything works perfectly! The only thing I wish is that the rings had different pictures on different rifle platforms with the different scope ring heights to avoid get rings to short for the scope and rifle, or at least mention it in a description.

Normally very impressed with MDT’s quality but when I received the rings one of the cap screws was not threading properly. Returned it under MDT’s return policy and money was refunded.

I’ll start by saying these do a great job as a very solid set of scope rings, but the placement of the bubble level makes it very hard to see. This was my first time using scope rings with the integrated level and I now see why it’s normally done at the top of the rings. I have a NF NX8 2. 5-20 on a Tikka CTR in one of the original MDT Timbr stocks and there’s no way for me to see the level while looking through the optic, and even if I come off the optic completely it’s very hard to be able to see. I ordered the Medium height and maybe that is the issue, but there is not any information in the description to help with those selections. With the cost of these I will likely be looking at different options next time, preferably with the level located above the optic.
