MDT’s Scope Base Picatinny Rails are designed to make the mounting of your optics easier. They are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, then hard-anodized black for a durable finish. The underside of the rails are profiled to allow the rail to be mounted flush on the receiver and to match the geometry of the ejection port. These rails are designed with a 30 MOA incline providing additional elevation adjustment from your scope*. A recoil lug has been integrated in the underside rail profile on models where the action’s design allows for this feature.

These scope bases are my favorites! The design, materials and execution are about as good as it gets. These bases have a tab the locks inti the ejection port that reduces the recoil forces on the screws. This is a similar design to the ones on the Marine's M40 Sniper Rifles. The aerospace grade of aluminum is very strong and light, the machining is clean, the tolerances are tight anodizing tough. Everything I want in a scope base, highly recommended!

I ordered it on the May 28 and still have not received it, I was originally notified it would be at my residence by May 30 2026 at 4:30 pm then it was changed to 9:00 pm after that there was no more correspondence until I sent a email asking where to picatinny rail was, on June 4 2026, I sent and email and asked if maybe the neighbor had picked it up, it was never delivered per USPS tracking, on June 8 2026 I went to the local post and got a print out showing it was never delivered per USPS, at that point I forwarded the information including the printout from USPS showing it wasn’t delivered! Jun 9, 2026,
I received the below email saying you would get it out as soon as you can! En light of the fact I had not received any confirmation I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges!

June 9 2026 I received a information from UPS that the package was sent and would be here on June 10 2026 and I had to sign for it, I cancelled an appointment so that I could be here to sign for then on the morning of June 10 2026 I received another email saying it will be June 11 2026 by 12:00 pm, upon receipt of the item I will-contact my credit card and you will be paid, my biggest complaint-lack of clear communication and no one to actually talk too to get clarification

I have only been able to use it once so far , but I was able to dial out to 340 yards with my Tikka T1X in .22LR. Previously, with a zero MOA rail I had to go max rotation and still hold over. Anxious to see just how far it can go. Also, I was still able to get my usual 50 yard zero.

This product fitted my CZ455v perfectly. Fitment was very simple but I do recommend using a light Teflon hobby mallet to make the final seating. It was very easy to reset the Zero of my FFP Element

A 20 MOA rail on a >22LR will get you to 200 yards, but not 300. If you are shooting this kind of distance, a 30 MOA is a must.

Hey, Just some feedback, I'm not sure what tolerances MDT or CZ keeps but I had some problems with my base, After removing the clamping brackets, I could not get the base to slide onto the rails, it was too tight. I ended up putting the receiver in the freezer overnight and heating up the base, then used rubber mallet and got it to slide on, but I suspect the powder coating is causing some issue, It on now and confirmed to be flush/ square to the action but I suspect this was not the intent.
Thank you for the feedback. With a tolerance stack, there can be the occasional tight fit, but usually, a light tapping with a rubber mallet will get it on as outlined in our instruction manual. We hope you enjoy the rail!

Works great on my new Tikka T3 CTR. I also added the rifle to a XRS chassis, instead of the regular A1 Tikka chassis, for something different. It is a game changer. I am so happy with the setup, we shoot very well together.
