Nice Magazine but Should Have Read The Description

The magazine is very well made but I missed the part in the description that says Medium Action. Imagine my surprise after loading it for the first time at the range only to find that it won't fit in my short-action bottom metal. I can't give a bad score for me missing that part of the description...but are there really that many people shooting WSMs and PRCs in a medium action?

Don't buy by mistake, medium action only, 7 rd. for short action

While the mags are great, I can't use them unless I buy a medium action. Which I may do, but wasn't planning. I was looking for a 6.5 PRC mag for a short action. You need to buy the 7 rd. mag if that's what you need.

Great service. Poor design

The individuals at MDT are great to work with. Very knowledgeable, fast, and professional. However the design of this magazine stinks. To ensure that the mag follower does not tilt and shift, they put these tiny plastic legs on each corner on the underside of the follower. Not too different from those little plastic legs you get with pizza...and with the same structural fortitude.

My feedback is these magazines

My feedback is these magazines show poor adhesion of the finish to underlying steel. Not sure what type of coating was used (or prep steps prior to coating application) but the outcome is not even close to the quality of the standard AI magazines... Disappointing

Great product, of course. Just be aware of the difference between the XM and the AICS mags. This XM version would not fit my build so unfortunately, I had to exchange it.

The magnum version works much better with the 284 Winchester, which is another
cartridge which can benefit greatly from
longer overall length. I am running Berger
190 hybrids at 2725. It rocks.
