.223 MDT Polymer AICS Magazine - 10 RND

Priced right and works well in my MDT Oryx chassis. A heavy barrel setup with match .223 77 grain ammo produces sub MOA groups at 100 yards from the bench.

I installed a tikka t3x lite and found the mag sat to high and was binding the bolt so after taking a flat file on top of the feed lips taking off small amounts then test fitting and taking a millimeter off the mag latch now fits and runs perfect drops out not without pulling small adjustments to it and not it cycles all
Ten rounds flawlessly I know the tikka action sits lower than most actions after speaking with you guys and now works just fine

Took a gun that was no fun to shoot and made it a whole new animal. No w has a detachable mag and cheek pad adjustment. Wish I had done years ago.

The .223 polymer magazine seemed cheaply made. The follower was 3-D printed and likes to tip forward when rounds are stripped off the top of it. MDT did send me a new improved follower which was better than the old one but still not great. Not sure if the metal magazine would be better.

This mag is May favorite for 223 rem. Easily the best fitting, functioning mag out there in my experience. I’ve modified multiple 223 mags to get longer seating depth but with this mag it easily lets me fit 75 grainers extended all the way to the lands without any issues or hiccups and with no modifications. It could even fit longer on all my 223s. You will not be disappointed. MDT’s magazines are all top notch from top to bottom.

It is a good mag but it is not “smooth” like the
Magpul that came with my Weatherby
The reason in my opinion is that company uses a slippery compound on spring loaded floor plate .but I like your straight mag better than Magpul s curved

Loading into the field stock isn't great. Several times it felt like it was locked in but is wasn't. Other than that pretty good magazine.

Fit and function appear to be perfect. Tight and no wobble. Feeding has been perfect. They appear to be robust and should withstand good regular use. Wish they came in 5 rounders also.
