Hardware included to enable the use of 2x MDT M-LOK Exterior Forend Weights on each side of the forend, mounting the weights directly to the forend installation screws.
These M-LOK Forend Side Panels are only compatible with the MDT Oryx Chassis System.
I purchases 2 set of these weights to better balance my 7mm. rem mag as I was getting a sideways jump during recoil. This solution almost completely resolved the issue and resulted in a straight back recoil such that I am able to spot my hits and repeat with minimal sighting adjustments. The last photo shows a 5 shot group at 100yds.

Work great able add weights to rifle need another set
These are exactly like the original oryx side panels, but with m-lok slots. This seems terribly wasteful to not have the m-lok slots on the oryx chassis and charge for additional side panels.

Oryx for a 93r17 savage system, only came in green furniture. FDE m-lok panels are seamless, though screw size is specific to positioning. Didn't read instructions because it's 3 screws..figured it out and orange loktited it. Love it.

The Oryx M-Lok forend side panels is simple to put on an converts your rifle into a more modular piece of equipment. The M-Lok slide allow the owner to attach any accessories they want to add to their rifle.
I had to use one of the longer screws to attach it to the chassis ,
Easy install & good looking, glad to get a lot of extra fasteners with some being longer for attaching the fore weights directly into the front screw holes. A few more m- lok slots would be nice. Attached without any issues and the fit and finish are MDT excellent. A nice upgrade to an already great chassis.
5 minute install and does exactly what you want it to if you want to add weights. Hopefully these will start coming as standard going forward.
I am very happy with my forend side panels. They are of the same quality as stock forends. They work great for mounting my bipod.

Replacing the original side panels allows of the addition of M-LOK weights or other accessories. This is a great option for the Oryx chassis.
I am glad to see they pay attention to the customer input I requested this as an option through the website portal. Here it is a couple months later!
