Mounted this thumb rest on a MDT XRS. Had to drill and tap a hole after ensuring the placement would work. If I was MDT I'd start offering this stock/chassis with the hole predrilled. Thanks for the great products.

The thumb test is made of polymer and anchors firmly to either the right or left side of the rifle using a standard Mlok slot. The thumb rest ensures that your hand placement is consistent from shot to shot and by varying the pressure aids in leveraging the rifle.

Honestly it’s not really needed. But it works when you do need it. In some positions this does come in handy especially if you have an open top rail.
