Easy install and perfect fit! Makes my old rifle new again.

I purchased this chassis for my Tikka T3X CTR in 6.5 Creedmor. It fit like a glove, looks great and I got better groups that the factory stock.

Shipped quick with no issues/delays. The bag of pins can be a little tricky to figure out without labels or instructions in/on the box, but they have various videos on YouTube that clear installation up. I’d consider this a basic chassis out of the box but it vastly improves the accuracy and feel compared to a factory rifle stock. Adding a few mods will really push this system to the next level.

Great product! Turned my Howa 7.62x39 into a great looking tac driver. It was already a great gun but the chassis gave it that rigid tough feel and it looks great. Paired with the 10 round magazine made a sweet treat too!

I’ll start by saying, buy it. I have spend several years building a “budget” long range rifle. I will admit, it’s a learning curve to shoot. But once you figure it out, you won’t go back. 10/10 customer support and 10/10 fitment and comfort. I will Forever recommend mdt staff and products. Thank you guys for a budget friendly stock option and I hope To see more in the future!

Pretty awesome chassis but a few issues for me personally. First off it took minutes to drop my 457 varmint barreled action into the oryx, fit great... definetly well machined no complaints there. Definetly felt that my accuracy/grouping improved with this chassis, love the pistol grip. It feels super solid and well made. I did not love the rear action screw depth as I had no bit to run my torque wrench that was long enough to reach so I had to use a standard Allen wrench and a pair of pliers to tighten down to a "guess torque"... not a huge deal but would have been nice to know a standard length bit in a torque driver will not fit in the rear recess hole. Regarding the adjustable cheek riser I was expecting to adjust the cheek piece to get my cheek weld dialed in but at its lowest setting out of the box I really had to smash my cheek to get proper scope view (running a vortex pst 6x24 on a dip 0 moa rail with medium vortex rings). I figured I would have to install the high rings but decided a redneck solution of sawing/filing down the underside plastic molded in bushings on cheek piece that are about 3/8" proud, this worked for me and now I have great weld and scope view. Last thing is why the heck not include a sling stud for a bipod , I had to steal one from a different rifle and rummage for nut so I could install my Harris bipod. I'm not ready do dump money into arca rails and arca bipod adapters etc.. overall it really transformed the rifle into an amazing set up that most people wouldn't think is actually just a .22lr!

Love the design, color, and look it has. Easy to assemble and modify. Added accessories and took it out coyote hunting. Very happy with this as it's my first chassis set up I have bought. I get compliments all the time on it.

Nothing but excellent. This chassis is a one piece backbone end to end. Here's what a maxed-out version would look like. Should we call this Oryx Elite? But truly an awesome innovation Oryx/MDT.

Well i must say this is my first chassis setup and I love it, I've always wanted one for a long while now. And I finally got one, it's the best thing I could have done to upgrade my 308 savage axis 2 short barrel. It shoots much better way less recoil and just better all around. Thank you guy for helping me get the correct size chassis I needed.

Great chassis overall and picked it up on their test our website 10 minute sale for 30% off... Would have been nice if it included a sling stud along with length of pull spacers. My only gripe is how difficult it was to install the mag release on the Ruger American platform, hence 4 stars.

Highly, highly recommended.

Easy install, the instructions for the Ruger American have a couple issues that probably needs addressed. The mag has some lateral play and”rattles” when walking with the firearm. Over all happy with the look and feel so far and waiting on the mdt bipod now. I did run a few rounds through juston sand bags and it is a major improvement so far!

It fits on the rifle perfectly, and it looks amazing.
The magazine fits well and cycles the rounds as expected. I haven't actually fired it yet, but I'm excited to try it out
All the videos I've watched had great results improving the accuracy.
