Team MDT: Ireland, Virginia, Arizona, and England

Team MDT had a fantastic weekend with numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place wins! Kicking it off were the Gibbons brothers. Over in Derrymore, Ireland, at the Midlands Shooting Center, Team MDT Shooters Rory and Daniel Gibbons competed in the first Irish Rimfire series match of the season. The match followed one of the worst storms in Ireland, which brought cold and a lot of wind. Considering the conditions, thirty-six brave souls showed up and competed. Rory ended up taking 1st place and his brother Daniel 2nd. Supported shooters Dean Farrell came in 8th and Shane Conlon in 14th.

Rory Gibbons with a 1st place win!

According to Rory, "I thought I wasn't doing well early on and had a few bad stages, but because of the weather, it was the same for everyone else. I ended up 4 points clear at the end. Very happy with the CZ457 in the ACC Premier Gen 2."

McKenzie Burns with 3rd Place and Top Lady!

In Quantico, Virginia, Supported shooter Mckenzie Burns had a successful showing at a local 22-match! Mckenzie faced constant 10-20 mph wind and carefully studied the mirage to gain insight into wind speed and direction. Mckenzie took 3rd place over and Top Lady!

Down in Phoenix, Arizona, MDT-supported shooter Jillian Schear took the Top Youth, Top Lady, and 17th overall at 2025 Usery Pass NRL-X. Jillian competed with her custom CZ457 in the MDT XRS Chassis System.

Across the pond in England, Team MDT's Joe Pask won the first NRL Hunter UK Rimfire Match, only dropping 1 shot in 2 days of shooting. The match was designed as a proof of concept for the newly formed NRL Hunter UK series. Joe said he enjoyed the extra challenge of locating quarry-shaped targets on the clock as it drew on his hunting experience. Joe is also looking forward to participating in more NRL Hunter UK matches this season with his MDT HNT26 chassis-equipped rifle!
