MDT Wins Golden Bullseye award

The Golden Bullseye Awards, now in its 22nd year, was created as a way for American Rifleman, "The World's Oldest and Largest Firearm Authority," to publicly recognize the firearm industry's best-performing, highest-value, and most innovative products from the previous year. Every year, they issue awards to deserving manufacturers in several categories. MDT was recognized by winning the Accessory Of The Year with our.308/6.5 Creedmoor Polymer AICS 3-Round Magazine!

Hunters expect the highest performance from their rifles. It's no different than a PRS or NRL competitor. For decades, one area lacking is magazines. Hunters have relied on hinged bottom metal, like that on many Remington 700 rifles, and an internal magazine for storing ammunition. There had to be something better. Thankfully, Accuracy International developed their now renowned and rock-solid single-stack magazine pattern that has become the de-facto standard. While this magazine is excellent for competitive or tactical shooters, it has shortcomings for hunters. The magazine, even its 5-round configuration, isn't compact or light. It creates a potential binding or failure point because the magazine extends past the stock. It also interferes with one-handed carry at the natural balance point just forward of the trigger guard. Hunters needed something better.

The MDT Polymer AICS 3-round magazine, a game-changer in the industry, addresses the long-standing issue of compactness and functionality. Weighing a mere 1.3oz., it seamlessly integrates with most AICS-compatible rifles, providing a secure and reliable magazine without the risk of binding or catching during outdoor expeditions. Since its debut, the 3-round polymer magazine family has expanded to include 7 PRC, 30-06, 300 WM, and, of course, .308-style cartridges.

The 3 Round Polymer magazine is available for short and long-action calibers.
