MDT Mention - New Chassis Rifles From Savage

New Chassis Rifles From Savage

Savage has been making accurate rifles since the late 1800s and is known for being affordable and responsive to the needs of their consumers. I was personally introduced to Savage when my dad purchased a .22 LR Savage Cub with an AccuTrigger and peep sights. I learned to shoot on this rifle, and we have fired around 5,000 rounds of whatever .22 LR ammo we could get our hands on since 2008. Fast-forward to the 2020s, my old savage cub still runs like a top, waiting to be handed down to my father's first grandson.

Savage has released several firearms in the last few years that feature an MDT Chassis System. Let's take a look at their recent additions.

SAVAGE AXIS II PRECISION

The Savage Axis II Precision rifle is a budget-friendly option for long-distance shooters who want to avoid venturing into the $1000-plus range of precision rifle options without sacrificing accuracy or build quality. This rifle comes factory equipped with Savage's crisp 2.5 - 6 pound AccuTrigger, a modular chassis stock, a 22" carbon steel button rifled threaded heavy barrel, and an M LOK forend. You can pick this up from Savage for under $1200 after taxes and fees, grab the optic of your choice, and go straight to the range to shoot long distance in one of six different caliber options (listed on Savage's website.)

SAVAGE B22 PRECISION

The SAVAGE B22 Precision rifle is sure to put a smile on your face when you want to do some .22 plinking but not burn a hole in your wallet by buying centerfire ammunition. The B22 features an MDT Chassis, an 18" heavy threaded barrel, and a sweet 1.5 - 2 pound AccuTrigger and would be perfect for training, hunting, or NRL 22. Looking for a semi-auto 22 rifle? Check out the Savage A22 Precision Rifle.

SAVAGE 110 ELITE AND IMPULSE RIFLES

Rounding off the list, Savage created the Savage 110 Elite Precision Rifle. The rifle is now available in both left and right-handed models. The Savage 110 Elite Precision rifle features Savage's factory blueprinted action, a 1.5 - 4 pounds Adjustable AccuTrigger, and a modified Palma contour barrel. The gun is mated to an MDT ACC Elite Chassis System.

SAVAGE 110 ELITE AND IMPULSE RIFLES

Savage 110 Elite is now available in a left-handed version.

The Savage 110 Elite complements the Savage Impulse Elite Precision, a unique straight-pull rifle. Like the Savage 110 Elite, the Savage Impulse Elite Precision rifle leverages the MDT ACC Elite Chassis System.
