Gunwerks - Skunkwerks The Trak - MDT Mention

Gunwerks specializes in long-range shooting equipment and training. It is known for its high-end precision rifles, rifle scopes, and other shooting accessories designed to help shooters achieve accurate shots at extended distances. Gunwerks also has a research and development branch called Skunkwerks that has released some pretty neat boutique rifles and kits.

Skunkwerks recently released their most ambitious kit to date, The TRAK, which is a culmination of their research into mobile hunting, precision hunting rifles, carry packs, and ancillary gear items to provide the best possible mobile hunting results. Skunkwerks chose the QuietKat Apex eBike as a mobility platform, which features a 1000 Watt motor, a 768 Watt-hour lithium battery, two pannier bags, and upgraded suspension, tires, and lights.

The rifle in the TRAK package is the "TRAK Rifle" chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. The TRAK Rifle includes a titanium GLR Action, 16" carbon-wrapped barrel, titanium muzzle brake, and 100 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady ammunition. The TRAK Rifle is topped with a Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-2 x 50 FFP Optic equipped with a ballistic package and custom turret. The rifle action and barrel are mounted in an MDT HNT26 Chassis System. Also included in The TRAK package is a Kifaru Hellbender Pack with a custom rifle carry scabbard. The Hellbender Pack is built on Kifaru's "Duplex Lite" frame and is customizable to the purchaser's preferences of color and size.

Gunwerks has earned a reputation for excellence in the realm of long-range shooting equipment and training. Their high-end precision rifles, rifle scopes, and shooting accessories have enabled shooters to achieve remarkable accuracy over extended distances. The company's research and development division, Skunkwerks, continues to innovate with products like The TRAK, a cutting-edge mobile hunting kit featuring the powerful QuietKat Apex eBike and the impressive TRAK Rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. While The TRAK package comes with a significant price tag of $16,895.00, it offers everything one needs for a seamless and efficient backcountry hunting experience, making it an appealing choice for those seeking a state-of-the-art lightweight hunting solution.
