The MDT Skeleton Rifle Lite Buttstock was designed to provide the shooter with best-in-class strength and ergonomics, with an emphasis on adjustability and comfort.

Length of pull (LOP) can be adjusted and fine-tuned with spacers. Achieving the perfect cheek weld is a breeze, simply loosen the set screws and adjust to the desired height before tightening them back down to lock in place.

I like it, it’s quality, but have two complaints

So I like the stock, I think its well built, I have two things against it though, the first thing is that the color of whats shown for a FDE vs what showed up in the box is like two completely different colors, what I got was like a darkish olive green so I’m not sure if I wanna paint it, send it back or keep it. The other thing I have against it (this I believe is due to the specific build) its a little long when paired with the folding stock adapter and all the shims removed, I wish I could scrunch it up about another inch, if I used the fix stock adapter it would probably be move comfortable.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. FDE is one of the hardest colors in the industry to color match, but we try our best to get it true to what we list on our packaging and website. As for the LOP, we will take a look at it to make the length shorter.

My Coyote Build

Overall a great build. The pieces fit together true, it took me 15 minutes to unbox and bolt the whole chassis together.
The two complaints are that the pistol grip sits low and I have to slide my hand up onto the metal of the stock to get my finger pulling the trigger straight back. The other is the sling swivel in the forestock is infront of where I set the bi-pod, not behind, and there is no place for a sling swivel on the back of the stock. I had to Back-woodsman a fix and tied the sling to the but stock.
Besides those two issues, my 243 tikka is shooting sub 1/2" groups with this stock, very nice!

Double tang RUGER M77

Didn’t fit. It stated on the description for M77 after getting it I went to install and it isn’t made for the old M77. MDT doesn’t make a chassis for the double tang M77 rugers.

Great Skeleton rifle stock

Great stock. Plan on putting a different stock on current rifle. Then putting this stock on my next build. Love the feel of this stock. Very comfortable and adjustable to my needs.
