I had purchased an MDT Oryx chassis for my 10/22 and wanted to put my Magpul bipod on it. I ordered the MDT m-lok sling swivel stud in order to do so. However, the MDT stud is not a clone of the Uncle Mike's swivel stud that exists on all of my other rifles. I ended up ordering the MDT Oryx bipod to complete my project. So, I guess I really never used the MDT m-lok swivel stud, but it looks like a well made piece!

The stud is well built but the shape of the stud is barrel type (flat top) and not rounded. My magpul bipod would not accept the stud. I had to file the edges down to create a round stud. the bipod fit snugged and secured.

I got one of these for my dad as a gift. Super happy with the quality.
We utilized this on the slide of his hand guard to mount a sling for front carry. This helps keep his rifle snug to his body.

While I’m sure this works great, no where does the description say this takes 2 M-Lock slots. I purchased this to use on the rear of my oryx chassis to mount a sling and it doesn’t work. Kind of a flaw on the chassis as well, but the description for this product needs to be updated to specify what it needs to be mounted.

Ultimately this has worked the way I want however it took some modification. I bought this to connect my Magpul bipod that attaches to a sling stud to a chassis with m-lok slots. The sling stud was too thick, and I had to grind it down with a dremel to get the bipod to fit on it. Ultimately no big deal but it took 10 more minutes of labor than I anticipated.

I bought it to use on my Oryx chassis , Howa 1500 .308 build so I could attach a bipod . It fit perfectly and was solid for the bipod . Works great and well built.

The corners of the stud are left square instead of rounded off, so it’s a sling swivel stud that doesn’t allow your sling to swivel.
