Competition Forend - LSS GEN3

Couldn’t love this full length hand guard more. Built in ARCA rail and mlok slots everywhere. Adding a bridge later will be incredibly easy.

like all MDT stuff, the Competition Forend for the LSS GEN3 is awesome. Fit, finish and getting it mounted were all perfect.

I recently purchased 2 complete LSS GEN3 component gun setups. All of the components are of excellent quality. We built our rifles on the CZ457 platform and couldn’t be happier with the finished products. Our target rifles are awesome and our scores have improved as a result.

Hoooooo doggie, people are SLEEPING on the LSS chassis. Y'all can keep your fancy ACC and whatever chassises, the LSS does it ALL and does it better. It's not a wet noodle that flexes everywhere like the ACC gen 1 (the gen 2 is better but still bends under pressure like the speaker of the house). No, sir, the LSS is rock solid, modular so you can whip it into whatever mission spec you need, and it's just plain great. I'm surprised MDT moved away from it - it feels like a product with so much potential, and yet there it lies. But this review is about the competition forend and what can I say but: it's better than the flagship products. It takes the mirage shield and you can put the NVG bridge on it. You can slap all kinds of accessories and other BS on it if you want. It takes a BEATING and doesn't even cry a little bit. It's effing RIGID, which is not the case with a lot of MDT forends, just sayin'. The other LSS forends are great too, it's all about the mission, but if your mission is competing and maximizing your real estate for stuff like weights and sensors and lights and other bologna, or if you just wanna look really cool and flex on your hunting buddies still rocking polymer stocks and Ruger Americans, this is arguably the greatest flex ever. Arguably. Because if they still outshoot you with that American (and they might) then you've gotta just quit. Like, just quit. Or learn to shoot. No chassis is going to make you a better shooter but it'll definitely make your rifle more forgiving, which will make you SEEM like a better shooter but it's all just covering fundamental issues by addressing the symptoms. Though, to be fair, that ACC chassis with the wet noodle forend WILL make you a worse shooter. So just think about how much better you'll be if you use this forend with the LSS gen 3 chassis. You'll be a rock star. People will like you. Girls will want you. Success will follow you everywhere you go. Probably. No guarantees. But this product? Definitely worth buying. Not all MDT products are worth buying. This one is. So buy it. Why are you still reading this? These are the ramblings of a madman. Stop reading. Go spend money. Go.

Great looking, solid forend with a lot of real estate for accessories(which I’m waiting for before I zero). Perfect combo with the LSS G3 chassis for my .338 LM.
