Doesn’t work with ruger American gen 2 w/ field stock installed!!! Then they recommend you buy the metal one to make alterations to the feed lips in hopes that it would feed more than 3 without a nosedive. PUT BETTER MATERIALS IN A 60+ dollar magazine. Magpul can do it for 14$. Disappointed.

I like the steel one that came with the gun better. Need to make mag with less rounds. No more than 5 rounds in Texas to hunt deer legally. The 12 round that came with the gun is shorter than the 10 i ordered and the ammo don't cycle that well in the polymer one. Waste of money in my opinion.

Great concept but the magazine follower needs to be redesign due to after a couple of rounds have been cycled thru the rifle the next two rounds will nose dive have to remove magazine from rifle to correct issue also holds only 9 rounds

Fit and function is perfect. Also looks great with my MDT field stock!! Great product, with great service!!

We replaced a Ruger American Gen 2 stock with an MDT Oryx chassis, bought this polymer mag. did not realize it was going to submarine when we attempted to load. Come to the comments to find out only the metal mags work. so I go over to the metal mag page, and it says does not work with Ruger American Gen 2. so the question is, who is right, those in charge of the web information or customer service?

Naturally, this is frustrating because people buy the chassis then the magazine only for them to not work with the product they were marketed for.

These do not work with the Ruger American. Rounds nose dive in mag. MDT said the metal mag only for ARC in the Ruger American. MDT was easy to deal with getting them changed out though. Just wish I had known before buying.

I ordered the poly mag for my Ruger American Gen 2 6mm ARC that I have in the MDT Field Stock and although it fits fine, it does not feed well at all. After contacting MDT customer service, they informed me the poly mag was not designed to be used in the Ruger American Gen 2 6mm ARC, only the metal mags will work with that setup. I am giving 5 stars because of the customer service at MDT in helping me get this resolved. Great product and great service.

I'm sure it is good, but I was ordering it by mistake, I wanted the 6gt magazine

Tried to send pics but your review won’t allow it, rounds keep flipping over in magazine when you cycle the bolt

Received my 6mm arc mag to use in my field stock and Ruger American Gen II. The rounds do not feed well at all. All rounds take a nose dive in the mag as soon as you try to cycle.

The ammo feeds fine with the 6. 5 ARC mag. I would recommend a 3 or 5 round mag for hunting if MDT is listening

While I have several the MDT 10 and12-Round metal magazines, I needed a couple "extra" for precision rifle class, so I though this lower cost would work as a back-up. To my delight, these magazines feed great and are significantly lighter than the metal magazines. Also, the polymer is a bit easier on the hands, as there are no sharp corners. There are some real differences are the lighter weight, larger size and they do not drop free from the M5 bottom metal. These characteristics may be a plus if you are hunting. All in all, very pleased with the design and function of these lower cost, lighter weight alternatives to the metal versions.

I am being literal here. At the time I bought these mags, MDT was the only place I could get AICS mags for a 6mm ARC bolt gun. These are good mags and work well.

Works perfectly for 6. 5Grendel, 22 Arc and 6 Arc. I have the same in metal and both work the same, flawless

Magazine loads smooth til 10th round last round is very difficult to load in the magazine…also while cycling rounds though the gun the follower sticks and rounds all nose down
