WHAT IS MED?

MED is short for "Medium" and refers to the length of the rifle action this magazine is compatible with. The majority of actions are either short or long action but there has been a growing desire for something in between. These magazines work with the Medium, XM and XM Plus chassis and bottom metals available. They are great for people who want to run either a really long short action caliber that doesn't fit in a short action mag, or a short long action cartridge that may have trouble feeding in a standard long action magazine.

Fits perfectly and feeds 6.5 PRC without issue. Enough said.

Does not feed and needs action work

I have a field stock and savage 110 action. After asking customer service the answer to my feeding problem they said I would need to notch the feed ramp. Less than ideal to take metal off the action after a $100 magazine and chassis.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. With most factory actions, it is common to have to notch the feed ramp to run a no-binder plate-style magazine. The AICS 3 rd and 7 rd magazine for 6.5PRC list this in the compatibility section. In looking into the name and e-mail associated with this order, we only received one e-mail from it on February 21, 2024, regarding a chassis for a Browning X-Bolt, and no additional contact since then. Doesn’t fit in field stock

So I just recently bought this magazine for my 6.5 prc that is in field stock. It doesn’t slide in easily. The front of the magazine doesn’t probably need to rounded out a bit for easier use. It catch an doesn’t sit properly unless you force it
