30-06 MDT Metal Magazine - 5 Round

Long story short, I got a Bergara .270 but wanted detachable magazines for more ammunition. MDT made it possible, thanks guys!

This is a high quality solid metal magazine. Excellent fit in my Oryx Chassis and finish is perfect. The magazine feels very robust. It absolutely is not flimsy, and has no visible flaws. My magazine holds 7 rounds.
The fact that you can buy a magazine for a odd setup like I have (ER Shaw Mk7, 6.5-06) and with only minor adjustments to the feed lips it will function correctly is awesome. I have received one mag and I am waiting on 3 more. If the other 3 are messed up in any way I'll update this review.
p.s. take your time when ordering and make sure you pick the correct mag or you will be waiting a very long time like me.

Correct good working Magazines

Conducted a functions check with our .270 in XRS chassis and all operates fine. Only note is there’s very slight movement if “FORCED”. This is a great option for AICS setup! I’m secured!

It’s a little bit difficult to find the mag that you need because it’s not linked to the chassis or anything, but I got the 5 round magazine and it easily holds 7

Very good quality. works with no tinkering required for perfect feeding. Would like to have had a 10rd option but will do my job perfect.

I have an XRX, Oryx and field stock and all fit beautifully.

I bought the metal mag in 30-06 length and it works flawlessly with my Savage Axis 2 in the MDT Field stock chambered in 280 AI.

5 round steel mag Fits very tight in stock . Functions great but a little longer than I thought it would be. I wish now that MDT did a 3 round version of this , maybe someday!
