Pic rail screws were a bit long for xrs forend weight so a tiny bit of custom tweaking was required. Rock solid now

Another great product from MDT.
Purpose for the purchase was to able me to run my QD sling between rifles. As you might know oryx has QD rear and sling swivel up front. Now I can run my pic mounted Atlas and use my QD mount sling. It just makes sense lol.. Thanks again MDT.

Now that you asked: I had to modify the end of the rail to allow for my sling mounting. May be you sent me the wrong one, I don't know! I am happy with my mod. Cheer!

Fit great, nothing to adjust or tweak, locks up tight to the chassis and is great for my bipod.

Well machined and finished . I ordered two of them because I wanted a rail that was made for my LSS gen 1 chasis. I own 2 gen 1 ‘s .Had another brand on but none that ran the entire length of the forend bottom . I run a front bag rider and an atlas bipod up front so I needed the entire length . I just like having my guns set up for which ever style I’m wanting to shoot .bag rider leaves a lot of me out of the equation when it comes to accuracy. Bipod to shoot anywhere and any position.

Bought this for my MDT LSS chassis. Needed to put a picatinney on the 6 o'clock position on the forearm. Now I have a place for my bipod and sling. Looks good too.

First of all, I've had my mossberg MVP LC 308 for 2 years now and the LSS Light Chassis system is AWESOME!!! When I bring new shooters out to the range, they LOVE shooting the MVP. I get compliments about the gun all the time. My original bi pod slot mount broke off the front of the chassis, so I just went ahead and ordered the 5.0 inch rail version. I could have ordered the 6.5 to fill up all the gap but the 5.0 inch version already comes with the quick disconnect cup for sling attachment. Saved me from installing a pic rail mount for sling cup attachment. The package arrived with brand new aluminum 5.0 rail, with the correct set screws and looking plate that fit into the chassis. I applied some blue loctite and fit/finish looks awesome. I installed the bipod and sling attachment and I'm back in business. Took it to the range the other day, put down 150 rounds of 308 ammo in 94 DEG heat and 92% humid summer of Chicago weather and the rail is ROCK solid. I highly recommend this rail if you need pic rail for LSS Light chassis system bolt again guns. Thanks again MDT for an awesome 1 piece aluminum light weight chassis and for an awesome replacement pic rail to mount bi pod and quick detach sling cup. Go ahead, pull the trigger and buy with confidence.
