Get more accuracy out of your factory rifle by upgrading with the Field Stock. The traditionally shaped polymer stock provides comfort and warmth in cold weather. Improve accuracy with the aluminum v-block bedding and a free-floating barrel. The adjustable buttstock allows you to be more comfortable for long-range shots.

The Field Stock is configurable for any shooting discipline. In addition to the included sling swivel studs, the M-LOK forend enables you to customize accessories for hunting, competition, or casual long-range shooting.

Fit and finish is great like the rear receiver holdown I would buy again

My overall impression of the chassis itself is positive. However the action of my Savage Mark II did not fit into the the chassis ordered. I am currently in the process of an exchange requiring the return of the chassis ordered before receiving the chassis with the proper insert for the Savage Mark II. I do not believe there was an option other than a Savage short action frame I either didn't see it or didn't know it was an option.

I was impressed that the MDT Field Stock I received for my Savage Model 16 Light Weight Hunter. The MDT Field Stock incorporates a bolt release into the trigger guard as the original factory trigger guard. Overall, weight was 8 pounds 3.5 ounces, about 4 ounces more than the wood stock I was previous using. The MDT Field stock allows me to use AICS magazines now, a huge upgrade from the Savage magazine. And the MDT Field Stock also gives me the ability to change the height of the comb and length of pull which I could not do with the previous stock. I am very happy with my purchase.

Had a Remington 700 7mm-08 re-barreled to a faxon 8.6 blackout. Stock was a direct fit. Feels amazing when shooting. Very stable and comfortable. I like it much better than the magpul stock that came with the rifle. Great upgrade!

I swapped this on a weatherby vanguard I won at a banquet. Its elite for the price. 8 oz Jard trigger, break and this stock on a 7mm-08. Its 1/2 moa with factory loads. True free floated setup, light and the Oryx bipod is really stable. I would put this on any lower end rifle. It makes a huge difference.

From 1.5" 5 shot spread to sub moa consistently with MDT. Love is not a big enough word.....

Remington 700 SA / FDE

The recoil lug did not seem to want to seat all the way against the rifle, but its shooting lights out. .396 moa at 100 on my 6.5 creedmoor with factory ammo. Its torqued to spec, so I am assuming everything is as it should be.

For the Field Stock for Howa 1500, after er only 80 shots, I've had to recenter the mag latch pin. It drifts over time. Luckily I've noticed it. Hope it doesn't fall off at the range. Hoping MDT sends a new spring. Or a new chassis. I own two other MDT stock/chassis that have latches that require installation. Both work just fine. The Howa field stock mag latch comes pre installed.

Love the field stocks. This is the third one ive bought one for my 7mm rem mag, my kids 243, and a .22. Ill be purchasing another for a 6.5 needmore build. They have a great fit, very sturdy, everything about them are top notch in my book. Way better than 95% of regular stocks. I would definitely recommend.
