Team MDT: Rory Gibbons wins the 2024 Irish Rifle League Rimfire Finale

Congratulations to Team MDT's Rory Gibbons for winning the Irish Rifle League, Rimfire Finale, and the league overall. Rory's brother, Daniel Gibbons, finished 2nd in the finale and 2nd in the league overall. MDT-supported Shooter Dean Farrell finished third in the finale for a podium clean sweep.

Daniel Gibbons took 2nd in the Irish Rifle League Rimfire Finale and second in the season!

The match was held at the Midlands National Shooting Centre, notorious for tricky winds, where the organizers had set up a course of fire that was challenging for the top shots and accessible for a large number of newer shooters present. This wraps up a successful year for the Irish Rifle League, whose numbers continue to grow.

Across the Irish Sea in England, Team MDT's Ryan Charlton won the October round of the NRL22 held at Derwent Valley Gun Club. Ryan coached a junior shooter through his first NRL22 match, who conducted himself like a seasoned pro, making great shots and cleaning a stage!

Junior shooter Riley Cooper said, "I had a brilliant day learning how to shoot NRL22; it's a great way of solving challenges by focusing on just the target and making good shots".

Special mention must also go to Team GB Lady Shooter Holly Duggan, whose 3rd place overall continues her run of great form using her CZ457 in a Gen2 ACC Premier. It's great to see so many shooters across the pond getting involved with shooting sports and using MDT Chassis Systems!

Holly Duggan took 3rd in the event.
