REM 700 LONG ACTION CIP & TIKKA T3X SHORT ACTION

REM 700 LONG ACTION CIP & TIKKA T3X SHORT ACTION

Modular Driven Technologies is proud to announce the latest expansion to the HNT26 ultralight hunting chassis lineup. Two highly requested configurations are now available:

  • Tikka T3 Short Action Left Hand with ARCA forend and folding buttstock

  • Remington 700 Long Action CIP (3.850") Left Hand with ARCA forend and folding buttstock

Designed for backcountry hunters and competitive shooters who demand lightweight performance without compromise, the HNT26 chassis system weighs in at just 26 ounces (base configuration) and brings modern modularity to the hunting world. With the addition of these new left-handed models, MDT continues to support a broader spectrum of shooters.

The HNT26 features a magnesium-alloy chassis core, carbon fiber forend and buttstock, an integrated ARCA rail for tripod or bipod mounting, and the option for a folding buttstock for maximum portability in the field. These new offerings bring all the benefits of the HNT26 to two of the most popular left-handed actions on the market.

The Remington 700 and Tikka T3/T3x are two of the most popular bolt-action rifle platforms in the world, known for their reliability, accuracy, and broad aftermarket support. The Remington 700, introduced in 1962, has become a foundational choice for hunters, precision shooters, and military snipers alike, thanks to its robust action, two-lug bolt, and wide range of available calibers. Its massive aftermarket allows shooters to customize nearly every component, from triggers and stocks to barrels and optics. On the other hand, the Tikka T3/T3x, manufactured by Sako in Finland, is celebrated for its smooth bolt throw, cold hammer-forged barrels, and consistent out-of-the-box accuracy. The T3x improved on the original T3 design by adding modular stock options, a larger ejection port, and extra recoil-reduction features. While the 700 has a longer legacy in North America, the Tikka platform continues to gain ground among discerning shooters who value precision and refinement straight from the factory.

Whether you're covering miles of steep terrain or shaving ounces for your next precision hunt, the HNT26 now fits more rifles and more shooters than ever before. The MDT HNT26 is available now at mdttac.com and through authorized MDT retailers.
