MDT Expands Hunting Bottom Metal Lineup for Tikka T3X SA and Savage 110 SA

MDT is proud to announce the expansion of its Hunting Bottom Metal product line with two new models: the Hunting Bottom Metal for Tikka T3X Short Action and the Hunting Bottom Metal for Savage 110 Short Action. Both are engineered to give hunters and precision shooters improved magazine compatibility, reliability, and confidence in the field.

Built to fit factory and aftermarket stocks, MDT’s Hunting Bottom Metals allow the use of AICS pattern magazines, expanding versatility across two of the most popular hunting rifle platforms. Each model incorporates MDT’s patent-pending magazine release lock, ensuring that magazines stay secure and do not accidentally unlatch in the field.

Key Features

  • Magazine Release Lock – Prevents accidental magazine release.

  • Optional Action Screw Pillars – Gunsmith-recommended for optimized installation.

  • Aftermarket Trigger Compatibility – Works seamlessly with popular trigger upgrades.

  • AICS Magazine Compatible – Expands magazine options for hunters and shooters.

  • Titanium Action Screws – Lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant.

Compatibility

Hunting Bottom Metal – Tikka T3X SA

  • Factory Tikka Stocks with CTR Bottom Metal Cutout (CTR, Ranch, UPR, & Arctic).

  • Savage Polymer Stocks (with optional bedding pillars for best performance).

The Hunting Bottom Metal for Tikka T3X SA and Savage 110 SA are now available through MDT’s website and authorized dealers.
