MDT Acquires MTNGear Bipods

MDT is excited to announce the acquisition of the Mountain and Backcountry bipods from MTNGear! MTNGear, a company based in New Zealand, was launched in 2018 by Matt Vincent to develop lightweight hunting products. The Mountain and Backcountry Bipods will join MDT's already impressive suite of bipods.

MDT Mountain Bipod

  • Feet designed to work in all terrain
  • Twist Lock Legs
  • Picatinny and ARCA versions

  • Weight: 5.6 oz (Picatinny) 5.9oz (ARCA)

MDT Backcountry Bipod

  • 25° cant
  • Twist lock legs
  • Strong enough for large calibers. (300PRC)
  • Feet designed to work in all terrain
  • Height adjustment from 8.3" to 13.8"
  • No leg splay
  • Picatinny only
  • Weight: 5.0 oz

The Mountain and Backcountry bipods will be released in Q1 of this year and will be on display at the 2025 SHOT SHOW
