Very good product, I bought this chassis for my Savage 16 in 270 WSM. It fit perfect, just dropped the rifle into the chassis and used the supplied screws. I torqued the screws to the supplied specs and went to the range. Just that simple. The rifle shot perfect before but now it handles better and more comfortable.

What an awesome chassis. Thought the gun would be too light considering it’s a 338 Lapua but that chassis makes it extremely comfortable to shoot. Well worth the money

I recently purchased a hnt 26. It is by far the best chassis system I own. It is so light and easy to use. Very nice to pack, and also shoot off hand. As that is how I shot my deer this year. While my friend used it and shot sitting while resting on his knees. My cartridge of choice is the 6. 5 prc in my HNT 26. Installation was super easy although hopefully I didn't mess up as I put loctite on the three screws for the foreend. I do want to change the grip to a vertical grip but we will see. Never shooting with a vertical grip until shooting prs. Now everything feels weird not running a vertical grip. Ha ha.

Also a big thanks to MDT for supporting PRS centerfire and rimfire matches this is in fact how I was able to get this chassis. With a 50% cert they gave to all ROs at a match. I'm forever grateful.

Great lightweight chassis. Doesn’t get too cold to touch during the winter. The folding stock locks up solid and the built in arca rail is a great feature for bipods and tripods. Action fits perfect in the chassis.

I really like the chassis. Ergonomically good for me. Super light which was a key consideration for my application - bird hunting in the Nordics. I ordered the fixed buttstock version since I wanted it to it be as stiff and light as possible and did not consider needing the folding feature. Mine is for Tikka T3x SA. I was surprised that when the cheek riser is up, it is impossible to remove the bolt. Or at least I have yet to figure out how. This combined with the cheek riser requiring an Allen wrench to move, makes use a bit complicated. Need to always carry one with you. I am surprised that no one at MDT has noticed this or fixed it. Happy to hear if this is a user error and there is a way. It is also annoying that there is a need to adjust the cheek riser after cleaning the rifle or removing the bolt for what ever reason. The folding buttstock would have solved the issue, but I expected that the fixed one would work as well.

Love the feel and weight of this stock. Thought I would want a more vertical grip, yet with this carbon fiber grip the ergonomic feel is great. It balances well with 26” carbon fiber barrel. Folding stock locks up solid. Would have say it would require only one improvement, the clearance on forend to allow quick change barrel removal with a action such as Terminus.

Great fit, light and accurate.

I was leary of using a chassis because I’ve had such excellent results using epoxy bedded stocks in the past. This was built for backpack hunting large game, namely elk. I’ve been very impressed. No signs of action movement in the chassis even with my heavy recoiling 300PRC. I’ve had this issue before in other chassis systems.
Fits very well, very comfortable to shoot and love the weight. I don’t hate it.

Amazing Chassis. I am running a 338 norma and it handles like a dream.... my only complaint is the weight of the length of pull shims.

Well i just got back from the range, firing gun with chassis for the first time. I had to buy special tools as I didnt have long enough adaptor for my fat wrench to tighten chassis bolts since you buried one well below the magazine latch. Also the back screw was to long and I couldn't operate the bolt when tightened properly. I had to remove the front washer and double the rear. For what I paid I wasn't expecting this. Then when I shot the gun for the first time, the check pad cut my face as the edges are way to sharp. Also the butt pad is a joke for the price and when I tried to find a limb saver of the right size they don't make one . So far my experience has not been less than good. I'm not a paid advertiser, just a guy that spent his own money on this item.

Light, very well made and in my humble opinion, beautiful with excellent fit and finish. Easy to install a barreled action into, Keeps setup precise. The stock folding option is great but the lock in folded position could be more positive. However, it is as is to make it easy to unfold, I think and that may be more important. Excellent, top notch product. Glad it is Canadian made too.

Great product

MDT exceeded my expectations! I had just purchased a XLR platform in 6.5 PRC and fortunately their lead times did not meet my needs. With some Google searching I stumbled on the MDT HNT26 CHASSIS SYSTEM and decided to give it a try. I had a Tikka chambered in .308 with a new carbon barrel. From un packaging to final assembly it took less than 15 minutes. The first day at the range sighting in didn't take long to see the results! Very happy and will continue to promote this system and MDT's products!

The ability to have the folding chassis with it being lightweight is a game changer.
