I had a Magpul bipod on a different build, and this oryx looked similar, comparable price too, but this is night and day better quality! There's no looseness, no wobble, no rattle. This thing locks up tight, firm legs, and so much better overall. The Magpul will be replaced on the other setup for sure now.

Knowing MDT quality, I figured this would be great. For the price, you can't beat a this solid bipod. I was shooting side by side with people using $400, $700 bipods on guns. I was out shooting them with my Tikka in a MDT field stock. Every. Single. Shot. MDT owns this market and for good reason. I'm sold!

I’ve been very happy with this bipod so far. I mounted it on my Mauser M18 chambered in 6.5 PRC, and the fit and stability have been excellent. It’s solid, well-built, and performs exactly as I expected in the field and at the range. Definitely a quality product, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable bipod.

Mounted the ORYX bipod on my new HNT26 chassis and put it to use in the field right away. Works great, looks great (less important) and is lightweight (very important). You won’t go wrong purchasing one.

I've had mine a few years. I love mine. Only issue I have had is just recently the knob that tightens the bipod to the rifle stripped threads. This has been after 3 years of switching it on and off multiple guns throughout the years. Luckily MDT is awesome. I sent them an email asking if I could buy the new part. MDT messaged me back asking for my info and told me they would just send a new one at no cost. My review would be a 5 star for quality and customer service. I dropped it to a 4 because I think they could add a few dollars on the price then afford to put a small threaded titanium insert so this doesn't happen. Everything else is solid. I plan on buying 2 more. Oh and a little nitpick... It would be nice for an attachment for my sling on the bipod but it's a small nitpick.

Very good option at this price point. Not overly heavy and does the job as advertised. The friction lock lever is very sensitive meaning very small lever movement causes friction lock engagement/disengagement.

Have had excellent experiences with mdt products. This one is like everything else. Excellent quality super customer service and great shipping. I’ve only used them a couple times at a range . They do everything I need, which is hold the front of the rifle for me
