The ergonomics are excellent. The stock is sturdy, feels great in the hands, and looks superb. My rifle shoots very well in it.
The Timbr Core is a great feeling stock, it just feels very natural to shoulder, and is very stable. It has instantly improved the precision and accuracy of my old 6mm Remington. Great upgrade!
I am very happy with the Timber Core rifle stock. My TL3 bolts in like a glove. I love the mini chassis insert that allows easy swap outs etc.
I'd like to see an option with a cheek riser, but this is very nice and more than usable as is, even mounting the scope up for a more heads up position.
Nice stock for the Savage SA; however, it comes with a little aluminum bushing that is not mentioned in the instructions, and it took me a bit to figure it out. Here’s where it goes: There’s a little recess in the underside of the chassis where the rear action screw is located, and the bushing fills the gap between the chassis and the bottom metal.
Also, the LOP spacers are not the same style as the polymer MDT Buttstock Spacer Kit. The wood TIMBR BUTTSTOCK SPACER KIT is quite expensive, so it’ll cost you if you want a LOP longer than 14.6”.
Was concerned at first since I’m running high scope rings and not having an adjustable comb, but it has not been an issue at all! Paired with a trigger tech special for my Tikka and shooting lights out! Thanks boys!
