If you're a hunter or a match shooter looking for a game-changing piece of gear, look no further than the MDT CKYE-POD | LIGHTWEIGHT. Quality craftsmanship and fast, simple, one-handed adjustments make this bipod the ultimate platform for stability and versatility.

The MDT CKYE-POD | LIGHTWEIGHT was created by Ckye Thomas, after multiple requests/comments from hunters that they "love the product, but wish that there was a lightweight version, easier to pack around". The MDT CKYE-POD | LIGHTWEIGHT is also very useful with the new trend of lightweight/hunter or multi-day challenges where you need to pack all of your gear/food/tent along with you and cannot go back to the truck for days.

Not worth the money

Wow, 900 dollars for no titanium or carbon fiber? For 1000 you can get a Spartan Hoplite Mini Tripod and Vidarr bipod. All their legs are interchangeable between the two systems. Greater height mission flexibility(hunting or competition), lighter, and quicker platform removal. For this price it better be 3D printed from titanium with a dash of unicorn tears.

Thanks for taking the time to send your comments. Both the single and double pull Light Weight Ckye-Pods have all titanium fasteners. If you ever have any questions regarding our products, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team at support@mdttac.com. Thanks!

The best

While it took a long time to receive my bipod, it was well worth the wait to receive a well designed and manufactured product.

I really appreciate how solid and lightweight these bipods are. I shoot accurate and consistent with them.

The customer service is second to none. Such a solid Christian owned company!

Quality of life issues

The bipod works great no issues and it still works but one leg is harder to extend which only becomes a problem on the clock (I shoot PRS) but it still works great

Thank you for the review. If you are having any issues with your Ckye-Pod please reach out to our customer support team at support@mdttac.com. We have some maintenance video links we can send you that will likely help relieve this issue. Thanks!

Solid Bi-Pods

I was excited about this product and it is on me that I did not get the exact pair I wanted but due the wait for these I will settle with what I got. I use them both professionally and recreationally. The price is a bit much to purchase them for my entire team but I do like them for the bolt gun. As for the Gas gun I would not use them as it is more my immediate response weapon. The one thing I would change and have already was knocking the silver down and flat black everything. A quicker anti can't device to adjust and secure it in place. Other than a few for things an overall stable and reliable set of bipods at any height.

Thank you for the feedback, Josh. We appreciate the time it takes to do so. We will be sure to send these ideas up to the product design team.

Legs deploy while hiking

A few months ago I purchased the double pull after reading how versatile the pod is. I was hesitant as $800 now $900 is extreme! This should not be more than $500 for the double. The cant and pan features are nice as well as the height you can achieve. The problem I had, and this needs to be addressed, is that while hunting, the legs would extend just while walking on level ground. I spent more time continuously retracting the legs then focusing on the hunt. The lever that you push to retract needs to have a stronger spring so the legs do not deploy unless you pull on them. Or make it to where you have to depress the button while you extend the legs. The next issue was the play where the legs met the base. While walking the legs continuously wobbled while forward parallel to the rail. Also as someone else brought up you have to crank down hard on the swivel bolt to keep it locked in. I think a good addition would be a button like on the pan feature which locks the cant. If the tolerances on this bipod we're tightened up so there is no wobble and no unintentional leg deployment then the bipod would be great, and price it around $500-$550 for the double pull, maybe $400 for the single. At $900 you are way overcharging. I would like to see the tolerances be addressed and I would look at purchasing the Gen 3 if these issues are addresss. You can't have a sloppy bipod. I returned it after a 2 day hog hunting trip. Customer Service was great and the ARCA/pic adapter was awesome! Hopefully the 3rd times a charm and at a realistic price point. Also please include the adapter to be able to use the Atlas rubber feet and/or extensions or just make them the same size on the double pull. My fingers are crossed. :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed:

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your review and feedback. We will take this all into consideration and pass it on to our team.

Loose Tolerances

Where should I start. Wait time almost 5 months. I get it pandemic, supply chain yada yada. Quality, I'm surprised, swivel is a bit loose with not way to try to tighten. The bipod height adjustments are also very loose and if you go a bit to far on the lower the uppers start to deploy. One of the buttons to adjust the width of the legs got stuck open so the leg was just flopping around until I was able to pull it back far enough to lock the leg again. I applied a tiny bit of light oil to get it working again. For $900 not impressed. I am not a sponsored shooter, so I pay FULL price most of the time for everything I own.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review and feedback. If you can send us a short video (20MB or less) of the issue you are experiencing and we would be happy to help you further.

Heavy and bulky, wobbly and insecure

Wanted to roll the dice spending almost $1,000 on the thing. This is the quality I would imagine a $50 ebay Chinese made thing to be. Do not waste money. You will hate yourself later. Wobbles like my grandpa walking a narrow sidewalk.

Hello Colton,

Thank you for the feedback, we're sorry to hear you are unhappy with your CKYE Pod. If you would like to we can set up a return for it?
