Team MDT Secures Big Wins at Cashout Chaos, MKM Precision, and Gravestone Precision Matches

Team MDT Secures Big Wins at Cashout Chaos, MKM Precision, and Gravestone Precision Matches

Team MDT had a standout weekend at the Cashout Chaos PPS Centerfire Match in Avenal, California, where $10,000 in cash payouts were up for grabs for overall winners and stage victories. MDT Shooter Daniel Bertocchini secured 3rd place overall, while MDT-supported shooter Brady Allinson claimed the top spot. Jacob Reister finished 5th, and Matt Hornback took Top MIL/LEO honors.

Reflecting on his performance, Jacob shared: "Saturday, true to form, I dug myself a hole—dropping 10 points on the first day. I knew I had to shoot my butt off to recover. When I woke up Sunday, I felt great and went on a tear through the first six stages. I managed to climb back into the top five, pocket some cash, and snag a 50% off Thunder Beast certificate. Compared to past years, I feel like I'm in a solid spot. I'm currently 7th in the nation and aiming to stay in the top 15—we'll see how it plays out. I couldn't do this without amazing friends, work, and the companies that support me. I'm truly blessed."

Jon Walker-MDT ACC-MKM Precision

Jon Walker took Top Open and Top Suppressor.

Meanwhile, in Northwest Pennsylvania, MDT-supported shooter Jon Walker dominated the MKM Precision Regional PRS Match, taking home Top Open and Top Suppressor titles. Team MDT's Drew Walter was close behind, securing 3rd place, while Matt Stiner claimed Top Tactical and MDT-supported shooter John Galati IV took Top Junior.

Jon shared his key moment from the match: "My big win of the day was on Stage 9—shot from two positions on a truck bed, finishing from the hood. Most competitors ran a rear tripod for stability, but I knew that was a mistake. Instead, I went in with just my support bag and cleaned the stage, which helped lock in the win. The tricky winds made it even more challenging, especially hitting the KYL rack at 700 yards from the hood."

Camdyn Powers- MDT ACC Chassis

Camden Powers.

Down in Lipan, Texas, at the Gravestone Precision Shooting PRS Rimfire Match, MDT-supported shooters Camdyn Powers and Reagan Stahmer tied for 1st place overall!

Camdyn Powers-1st place-Team MDT

Congratulations Camdyn!

Camdyn reflected on the experience: "The match, designed by Shayne Ward, featured a well-balanced course of fire with solid props, varied target distances, and unique target shapes. The wind kept us on our toes, shifting speed and direction unpredictably. I was really happy with how my rifle performed and how I stayed mentally focused. I could see most of my shots, make adjustments, and adapt as needed. Despite rain and wind rolling in during the afternoon, our squad kept the energy high with plenty of laughs, making the day even more memorable."
