MDT Announces Limited 4th Anniversary Edition GRND-POD in FDE

MDT is proud to announce the release of a limited run 4th Anniversary Edition of the MDT GRND-POD in Flat Dark Earth (FDE), celebrating four years of proven performance from one of MDT’s most widely adopted bipods.

Since its introduction, the GRND-POD has established itself as the go-to upgrade for shooters looking to move beyond entry-level bipods while still maintaining an accessible price point. Built to deliver modern competition features, fast deployment, and field-ready durability, the GRND-POD has become a trusted support system across both hunting and precision rifle categories.

The GRND-POD is engineered for rapid one-handed operation, allowing shooters to control leg extension, leg angle, cant tension, and stowage with speed and consistency. Its design supports fast positional adjustments on uneven terrain while maintaining the stability required for precision shooting.

Key GRND-POD features include:

  • Rapid deploy legs with single-handed adjustments

  • Four locking leg positions (0°, 50°, 90°, 180°)

  • Independent leg extension for uneven terrain and barricade use

  • Up to 40 degrees of cant on ARCA / RRS dovetail configurations

  • Height range from 4.5 to 9 inches

  • Carbon fiber legs paired with a rigid 6061-T6 aluminum core

  • Compatibility with CKYE-POD and Atlas-standard feet

Despite its lightweight hybrid construction, the GRND-POD delivers the stability expected from a modern precision bipod, providing a reliable shooting platform for everything from rimfire trainers to heavy centerfire rifles.

The 4th Anniversary Edition maintains the same proven GRND-POD architecture, now offered in a limited FDE colorway to complement modern rifle builds and field setups. Quantities are limited and available only while supplies last.

The MDT GRND-POD 4th Anniversary Edition in FDE is available now through MDT and authorized dealers. For more information, visit https://mdttac.com/mdt-grnd-pod-2.

With the GRND-POD, MDT continues its mission to deliver innovative, purpose-built shooting equipment that balances performance, reliability, and real-world value for shooters in every environment.
