- The magazines with front binder plates are compatible with all rifles equipped with AICS-pattern bottom metal or chassis systems. The binder plate holds the cartridges back from the front of the magazines and guides them past the bottom of the feed ramp. The maximum cartridge overall length (COAL) that will fit in this magazine is 2.870”.
- The magazines without front binder plates allow a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960”. These are compatible with all AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems, but most common actions such as Remington 700 and Savage 10/11 will require modifications to the receiver (i.e. notching out the bottom of the feed ramp) to prevent the bullet tips from catching on the bottom of the feed ramp.

Awesome work team, the smoothest magazine I’ve ever had the BOLT pushes the ammunition with the chamber, very smoothly The plastic magazines seem like there’s a little slight struggle, pushing ammunition through, but they still work.

Great mag. Perfect fit in my Seekins rifle. Allowed me to load to longer COAL since this mag does not have a binder plate. I made no changes to the rifle or mag. Some say you need to adjust the feed lips not so in the Seekins. A great solution.

Works great! I'm running this mag on a 22-250, adjusted the feed lips to the right size and haven't had a single issue. Quality is very nice, it doesn't have as much of the normal metal mag rattle. Good stuff!

My AICS mags with a binder clip didn't accommodate the long cartridge lengths I wanted to handload for my 308. These mags were just long enough to allow me to make the longer load I wanted without compromising to accommodate the mag constraints. Works perfectly, feeds fine, and saves the day!

Is there anything that feels better than wood (Walnut) in you hands? It's so much better than rubber or plastic.

The factory description is accurate. I will add that they are thick enough steel to be very solid and high quality. I like the 5 rounder for hunting as it sticks out of the chassis least. The chassis adjustment for the magazine makes for a perfect fit with no feeding problems. Worth the money, happy with purchase.
