My triangle of happiness involves these parts: family, outdoors, and competition. Many of my favorite times are whenever I have been able to combine any of these together - be it hunting or fishing, hiking, competitive shooting, time with my wife and 4 kids, or time with my bonus family of friends I've met through multiple sports.

I got into shooting as a result of growing up hunting. As I got older, I was intrigued with precision rifle and wanted to become a better shooter to extend my range as a hunter. In 2014, i started shooting some competitions with a few local matches. After that i caught the PRS bug and decided to shoot my first PRS national level match. I finished up that season as rookie of the year and 11th overall in the series. From that point on i was totally hooked and have competed every year since.
